I just receive my Joby Zivio headset and I probably have the same comments/complaints as other users in this support forum. Quite simply - the magnetic style ear loop is a cheap and flawed design for a headset that costs $130+. There's no reason why the magnetic piece cannot be permanently affixed to the body of the headset (think of the Plantronics Voyager line) and make it so that the ear loop can be removed so that you can wear the headset on the left or right ear. Though I understand the intent of the current design - it's not working and quite frankly it's not practical nor durable to stand up to repeated use.
Speaking of the ear loop - it needs to be extended so that it can 'hook' around more of your ear (say like glasses arms) & made out of a thick, flexible rubber so that you have options to keep the headset as secure as possible. This will help to keep the headset in place. Right now - just the end of the tip of the loop seems to stay on my ear and that's barely enough for the headset to stay on. Additionally - using RUBBER to hold the arm in place is just cheap. Rubber will tear and break and then you are left with a broken and useless headset. The rubber piece should have (AT BARE MINIMUM) been a plastic piece.
Retractable mic - I like the idea of the retractable microphone - however I very much believe that the closer the mic is to the mouth - the better the sound will be for the caller on the other end. With that said - make the mic permanently extended (think of the Sony Ericcson HBH-300). In this day and age of 'smaller is better' - Bluetooh headsets still have a long way to go in order for them to have the technology to allow for a sleek and small design that will allow for form and function to compliment one another. All of the BT headset manufactures keep making their headset smaller
The body and ear loop need to be designed so that the headset does not suspend so far away from the face. For example while wearing the zivio I can push the headset towards my mouth in order for the mic to be closer to my mouth.. it should be angled so that this does not need to happen.
Beyond that - the headset is fine to me. It's good that USB charging is the method of charging the headset AND KUDOS GOES OUT TO THE PERSON(S) WHO MADE THE DECISION TO MAKE THE CHARGER ACCOMMODATE TWO USB ports!!!!
